Atlas began its engineering activities in Tehran in 1965, with surveying, mapping and geospatial services forming the foundation of its practice. The organization subsequently continued under the name Atlas Tehran, building technical experience across different projects and environments.
Gulf Planning and Engineering Consultancy (LTD) in Oman carries forward this professional heritage and its international outlook. The year 1965 refers to the origins of the engineering organization, rather than the legal incorporation date of the present Omani company.
